Another of our all time favorite resources is Forget Me Not Foundation who works with florists such as Kathy Wright and Company who introduced this resource who picks up the flowers after your celebration with the help of off duty parametics in ambulances to deliver them to retirement homes where the residence can remake them into their own creations.  Read more about this amazing theraputic activity at http://ww.forgetmenotfoundation.org

Besides being 1 hour from the mountain hiking or ski trails, theme parks that are known as the happies place on earth, restaurants with some of the Nation’s top Chef’s and Coves where you can enjoy an afternoon on the beach and stroll through art galleries later, it’s the people that make San Diego home sweet home for me.

Father of the Bride

Well if you haven’t seen the movie The Wedding Planner, let me explain FOB- Father of Bride.   As the Father of the Bride, you have an important roll (no it is not just signing the checks).  Besides walking your daugther down the aisle, giving a welcome toast at the wedding reception, and of course dancing a special dance referred to as The Father-Daughter Dance, you have a tux to pick out, support to provide to the women in your life by lending an ear and maybe even participating in the planning process.
